Human Resource Management and Administration DIVISION
The Human Resource Management and Administration Division provides strategic oversight and guidance to the Sugar Industry Authority.The Division consistsof three (3) major unitsnamely, the Human Resource Management, Administration and Information Systems Unit.
The Human Resource Management Unit ensures that the Authority is adequately resourced with requisite supply of human resources, develops, implements and maintains human resource policies, procedures and programmes in a manner that will enhance efficiency and effectiveness of performance and supports the mission of the Authority. The Human Resource Unit is also responsiblefor providing:
Employment (recruitment and selection, induction and orientation)
Training and Development
Performance Management
Employee Welfare & Benefits Administration, and any other human resource management issues to assist employees to create a flexible and responsive workforce that will deliver effective and efficient services.
The Administration Unit oversees the general operations of the Authority by providing support services through:
Procurement
Security
Property Management
The Information Systems Unit has responsibility for provision of IT support tothe Sugar Industry Authorityand ensures the Authority’s information is secured and the system performs at theoptimum level of efficiency.
