The Human Resource Management & Administration Division ensures that Authority and its Research Division is adequately resourced with the requisite supply of human resources and implements and maintains relevant policies, systems and procedures in a manner that will enhance efficiency and effectiveness of performance. The responsibilities include:
  • Employment (*Recruitment and Selection)
  • Provision of Human Resource information (HRMIS??)
  • Employee Welfare - administration of benefits, leave, pension, health and loans
  • Management of personnel records
  • Training & Development (professional and personal - scholarships)
  • Performance Management

The Division also provides the requisite office services and supplies to ensure a satisfactory working environment for staff as well as to enhance the Authority & its Research Division’s capability to carry out its function.  The responsibilities include:
  • Office Management Services (Security, Canteen etc.)
  • Inventory Management (office supplies)
  • Health & Safety

Ensuring that the Authority has the requisite and adequate supply of equipment and services that is essential to the achievement of the Authority’s operations is also part of the mandate of the Division.   The Responsibilities include:
  • Procurement of Goods and services and works
  • Procurement Plan Development

The main objective of the Registry/Library Services is the provision of an efficient Records Management system that sees to the maintenance, protection, retention and disposition of the Authority’s records. It also ensures the development and dissemination of up to date sugar-related information for research and other general information
  • Records Management that accords with GOJ regulations and other legal requirements
  • Library Services
  • Mail Services - Management & Dissemination of Correspondence
