Are SIATI courses free?
Yes — all SIATI training is free of charge for stakeholders in the Jamaican sugar industry, including farmers, factory workers, students, researchers, and policy makers.
How do I register as a cane farmer?
Download the Farmers Application Form from our Documents & Forms page, complete it, and return it to the Industry Regulations Division at our Mandeville office.
Can non-sugar-industry clients use the Central Laboratory?
Yes. The Central Laboratory accepts samples from private agricultural clients and government agencies for soil testing, irrigation water assessment, and wastewater monitoring. View pricing.
How long does a quote request take?
Quote requests are typically responded to within 3–5 business days by the relevant department. You can submit a request from our Services and Pricing page.
